O A filmszemlén (február 14 és 28 között) 15 film mutatja be az Oszkár díjas Miloš Forman rendezői munkásságát (http://www.moma.org). A szemle megnyitóját követően az Egy szöszi szerelmei (1965) c. filmet láthatták a nézők Forman társaságában. Ezután a rendező a rá jellemző közvetlenséggel és jó humorérzékkel társalgott a jelenlevőkkel. Az amerikai nézők kedvelik nemcsak a Forman-filmeket, hanem magát Formant is. A jegyek előre elkeltek és a rendezőt ovációval köszöntötték a nézők mindkét alkalommal, február 14 és 15-én, amikor személyesen is megjelent. A szemle megnyitóján ott volt Martin Palouš, a Charta77 egykori szóvivője, jelenleg a Cseh Köztársaság ENSZ követe, valamint a New York-i Cseh Konzulátus képviselői is.?

O The fifteen films of the film retrospective (February 14-28, 2008 at MoMA http://www.moma.org) feature the Oscar winning director’s cinematographic artwork. The retrospective started with the screening of ‘Loves of a Blonde’ (1965)in the company of the director and followed by a spontaneous conversation at which Mr. Forman was amusing his audience with his hallmark sense humor. The American viewers are fond of both the Forman-films and the director himself. The tickets for the retrospective were sold out in advance and the viewers greeted Miloš Forman with a standing ovation on each one of the two evenings (February 14 and 15) when he joined the screening. At the opening night Martin Palouš, the former spokesman of the Charter77, currently the UN Ambassador of the Czech Republic and the representatives of the Consulate of the Czech Republic in NYC saluted Miloš Forman.?
